CAMDEN, NJ — A tele-town hall will be held today at 4 p.m. by the Veterans Benefits Administration for a breakdown of the latest benefits during the COVID-19 outbreak.
“With federal stimulus efforts and a host of measures intended to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, it is important for veterans to understand how their benefits will or will not be impacted,” said Freeholder Melinda Kane, liaison to the Office of Veterans Affairs. “If you have any questions about your benefits as a veteran, you are encouraged to call in or submit questions in advance of the event."
Under Secretary for Benefits Paul Lawrence will be on the call, as well as veterans from the community.
Anyone interested in participating in the call should dial in to (844) 227-7557 by 3:50 p.m. Although some questions will be asked live, callers can also submit questions to the Lawrence's LinkedIn page.
