CAMDEN, NJ — Authorities arrested a Camden man on Sunday in connection with a fatal stabbing two days earlier in the Bergen Square neighborhood.
Daeshon Davis, 22, is charged with first-degree murder, as well as unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, according to a release from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Davis is accused of killing Ryan Harter, 26, of Gloucester City. Police found Harter's body, with multiple stab wounds, near the 1000 block of South 5th Street at approximately 10:52 a.m. Friday, according to the prosecutor's office.
The United States Marshals Service took Davis into custody about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Davis was processed at the Camden County Police Department then held at the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing.
