CAMDEN, NJ — The individual found dead inside a burning car in Cherry Hill on April 16 was identified Friday as Diamond Robles, 39, of Camden.
"Police and firefighters were called to a parking lot off Rt. 70 West around 9:20 p.m. When they arrived, they found a car on fire with one person dead inside," Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Cherry Hill Police Chief William “Bud” Monaghan said in a statement April 16.
The next day authorities said that the woman's cause of death was determined to be smoke/soot inhalation and thermal burns.
An investigation into the events that led to Robles' death is currently underway.
