CAMDEN, NJ — What started as a massive plume of smoke from a facility in Camden on Tuesday afternoon has been extinguished, the fire department said.

Officials told TAPinto Camden that “a big pile of fluff caught fire” at the junkyard causing the blaze on Atlantic Avenue near Front Street a little after 3 pm.

Smoke from the fire could be seen from miles away.
