CAMDEN, NJ — Camden County Police Department (CCPD) officers responded to a home on the 2900 block of Congress Road on Sunday after reports of a woman not breathing.

Upon their arrival, officers found Lateemah Leavy, 37, of Camden, dead in an upstairs bedroom after appearing to have sustained a gunshot wound, police said in a statement. 

Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Police Chief Joe Wysocki say the incident and what led up to it are under investigation.
