CAMDEN, NJ — One family was displaced following a two-alarm fire Tuesday evening at a vacant home on the 400 block of Pine Street in Camden.
"The building was outfitted with multiple Single Room Occupancies (SROs) so extensive search operations had to be undertaken but all were negative. One family was displaced from an adjacent home," Local 2578 said in a statement Wednesday.
Additional aid for the fire, which was reported shortly after 6 p.m., was provided by units from Gloucester City.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Camden Fire Marshal's Office.
It was the second such incident the Camden Fire Department (CFD) responded to Tuesday, after another fire at a vacant home on South 6th Street earlier in the day.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
