CAMDEN, NJ — Thinking of parking your car parallel to a fire hydrant in Camden? Well, think twice.
One driver learned the hard way Saturday when firefighters attempting to reach a fire hydrant on the 400 block of Chambers Street smashed the windows of their van.
Local 2578, the firefighter's union, tweeted a video at roughly 6 pm of a fire hose being fed through two windows. The video has garnered over 8,000 views as of Monday.
According to the post, the fire “at the occupied dwelling” was extinguished.
No firefighters or residents were injured in the blaze. No additional information has been provided at this time.
