CAMDEN, NJ — Detectives are asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle said to be involved in striking and killing a dirt bike rider then fleeing the scene in Camden more than a week ago.

A 36-year-old Camden man, whose identity is not being released at this time, was fatally struck near the intersection of Louis Street and Kaighn Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. The man was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he died from his injuries at approximately 1 a.m.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office shared photos of the vehicle on Monday that fled the scene, believed to be a red single-cab pickup truck with chrome running boards.

The investigation into the fatal incident is ongoing. No charges have been filed as of yet, detectives said.
