CHARLESTON, SC - Academic Magnet High School in North Charleston has been named the top school in the nation in new 2019 rankings released today by U.S. News and World Report. The school was rated first among 17,000 public high schools based on five ranking criteria: college curriculum breadth, college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, and graduation rate.
