Learn how to think like a computer scientist with Python.  Develop applications using this versatile programming language.  Basic computer understanding is required.

Eyes of the Wild: Animals Are out of This World! – 4 to 4:45 pm

Did you know that animals made the trip to space before humans did?  We will talk about how space affects living organisms, adapting to new and potentially dangerous environments, and conserving the resources that we have here on Earth.  Some of the animals that may be included:  tortoise, large lizards, rabbit, alligator, frog, sugar glider, hissing cockroaches, and scorpions.

Italian Conversation Group – 7:15 pm

Luciana Santoriello moderates this Italian discussion group with help from other fluent speakers.  This is our last meeting this summer.  Meetings will resume in September.

Ⓣ Sewing Workshop: It’s An Alien Invasion! – 4 to 6 pm

Ages 9 to 12                Limit:  12 children

Stitch your very own alien pillow at the SewIt! pop-up sewing studio with Ellen Brown.  No sewing experience necessary.  Learn to use a sewing machine as Ms. Ellen guides you step by step.  All supplies and sewing machines provided.

The Living Room Trio Concert – 7 pm

Join us for a concert on the library lawn with the Living Room Trio featuring Dorothy Frank, Andy Hollander, Lucy Malatesta, and Deborah Fennelly on piano.  The group will perform Broadway tunes, rock, country and original music.
