Proving that it’s all about the team, Atlantic Health System was honored this week by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and its flagship publication, COMMERCE Magazine, for the welcoming culture and innovative, data-driven approach to care found at each of its hundreds of sites of care.
The 6th Annual Best Practices Conference, held in Belleville, New Jersey celebrated Atlantic Health System and dozens of organizations from every industry sector, as well representatives from the higher education community for their best practices – innovative approaches to solving business challenges. Candidates for the award were asked to submit their approach to achieving peak performance as a company – their “secret sauce.” Brian Gragnolati, Atlantic Health System President and CEO submitted the following:
“Each of the 400 sites of care within Atlantic Health System has one thing in common – a dedicated workforce of talented, highly trained, compassionate individuals who devote their lives to improving the health of their neighbors. We support our 17,000 caregivers by ensuring a welcoming culture and investing in professional development that empowers them to be the best workforce in health care.
“Innovation is at the heart of what we do, improving patients’ lives and inspiring our team to discover tomorrow’s solutions for today’s biggest health challenges. Internationally recognized for setting standards for quality health care, Atlantic Health System is backed by cutting-edge technology and real-time data analytics.
“Together, these unique elements – our innovative team and an unwavering commitment to putting patients first – combine to create our secret sauce.”
