MONTCLAIR, NJ - Senior forward Will Barnett scored a hat trick, including a short-handed goal, and senior goalie C.J. Albanese notched his third shutout in leading Chatham to a 6-0 ice hockey victory over Montclair Kimberley Academy on Wednesday night at Clary Anderson Arena.

Will Barnett scored in the first period for Chatham (8-1-3), ranked No. 8 in the state by NJ.com. Ryan Barnett and Ben Seitz-Sitek were each credited with an assist on the goal.

Will Barnett scored a short-handed goal in the third period, with assists being credited to Ryan Barnett and A.J. Albanese. Barnett then completed his hat trick on a power-play goal that was set up by Jack O'Connor. Barnett now has 12 goals on the season.

Bryn Casey scored in the second period for the Cougars, with assists credited to Jack O'Connor and Austin Pierce. Later in the second period, Kevin Allen netted a goal for Chatham. Jeff Hayley and Ryan Barnett contributed the assists. Senior Henry Drury scored his first goal of the season in the third period.

Albanese made 18 saves in blanking Montclair-Kimberley (2-7-2).
