Blanchard Pitches 4-hit Shutout for Chatham Baseball in 1-0 Win over Delaware Valley

CHATHAM, NJ - Junior right-hander Sam Blanchard pitched a four-hit shutout, striking out seven, in leading Chatham to a 1-0 baseball victory over Delaware Valley on Tuesday.

Peter DeMaria doubled to drive across Chris Bredahl in the first inning for Chatham (9-14) and Blanchard made it stand up.

Chatham will play host to Summit, 7 p.m. Thursday at Shunpike Field. "Senior Night" ceremonies will begin at 6:15.

Residents of Chatham to Receive Second Fundraising Letter Asking for Their Support of the Chatham Emergency Squad

During the week of May 20, a follow-up letter seeking donations to the Chatham Emergency Squad (CES) will be sent to more than 6,000 Chatham residents, businesses, religious and community organizations. Letters will not be sent to individuals, businesses, and organizations who have lent their support with the first mailing, issued in January 2018.
