Bondurich Runs 49.29 to Break Chatham 400-Meter Record at Group 3 Track

COLUMBUS, NJ - Chatham senior Stephen Bondurich ran the 400-meter dash in 49.29, breaking his own school record to finish sixth at the NJSIAA Group 3 boys track meet on Friday at Northern Burlington High School.

Bondurich broke his own school mark by .03 seconds and qualified for the Meet of Champions in the event.

Also excelling for Chatham was Jaylen Haye, who came in seeded 23rd out of 24 runners in the 400 intermediate hurdles. Haye set a personal record of 57.92 in the event to place 13th overall.

Chatham senior Nick Ferrone ran well for the Cougars, qualifying for the Group 3 finals in the 100-meter dash and finishing seventh in 11.26.

Other top Chatham performances at the Group 3 meet were:
Vince Avallone: 52.0 in the 400-meter dash.
Will Kraemer: 12 feet, 6 inches in the pole vault.
