Bondurich Wins 600-Meter Run with 2nd Fastest Time in Chatham History

MADISON, NJ - Chatham senior Stephen Bondurich won the 600-meter run with the second-fastest time in Chatham history on Monday at the DeSchriver Invitational held at Drew University.

Bondurich's 1:26.16 was a second off of the Chatham school mark in the event of 1:25.5 set by Chris Black in 2008.

Jason Alexis placed in two events for Chatham, earning second in the 55-meter high hurdles with a time of 8.23 and third in the high jump by clearing 5 feet, 8 inches.

In the 300-meter run, Avery Brown of Chatham placed second in 38.06. In the pole vault, Will Kraemer cleared 11 feet to place second and Bondurich vaulted 10 feet to take fourth place in the event.

In the JV competition for Chatham:

Jaylen Haye was second in the 55-meter high hurdles in 8.97 and Ian Higgins was fourth in 9.52.

Avery Brown won the JV race 55-meter dash in a meet-record time of 7.02.

In the JV 600-meter run Tim Higgins was 6th in 1:39.3, and in the JV shot put Dylan Ott placed first with a throw of 33 feet, 2 inches. In the JV high jump, Blair Dalziel tied for sixth with a leap of 5 feet, 6 inches.
