Brown Posts Top Time for Chatham in FAT Track Meet Held at Cougar Field

CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham's Avery Brown placed first in the 400-meter dash out of 34 competitors with a time of 50.65 to highlight the FAT (Fully Automatic Timing) meet held Saturday at Cougar Field.

The purpose of the meet was for track athletes from Morris County and beyond to earn computerized, accurate times that will be used in seeding for the championship portion of the season, beginning with the Morris County relays in May.
Only six track events were held and there were no field events since distances and heights already have been recorded.
