CHATHAM, NJ - Senior attack Cade Krauss pointed to signs of momentum building within the Chatham boys lacrosse team after his career-best six goals helped Chatham roll to a 16-4 win over Morristown on Thursday at Cougar Field.

Of course, that momentum can also directly be tied to senior attack Mac Bredahl, who collected three goals and seven assists for Chatham (3-1).

Chatham, which plays host to Mount Olive on Saturday, got off to a quick start when Colin Hart won the opening faceoff and defender Chris Conlin converted a pass from Connor Byrd to score just 31 seconds into the action.

Ryan Decker scored two straight goals, Bredahl netted an unassisted goal with a move from behind the net, and Krauss scored the first of his six goals on a pass from Ryan Chase to close out the first period for a 5-0 Cougar lead.

In the first half, Krauss netted five goals and Bredahl collected two goals and five assists as Chatham moved to an 11-1 advantage.
