Captains Power Chatham Girls Lacrosse in Season Opening Win

CHATHAM, NJ - Senior tri-captains Schuyler Bixby, Abby Morgan and Zoe Kraus combined to produce 10 goals and 12 assists in leading Chatham to a 15-5 season-opening girls lacrosse victory over West Morris on Wednesday at Haas Field.

Bixby collected 10 points with three goals and seven assists; Morgan ended with three goals and four assists and Kraus netted four goals and had an assist for Chatham.

The Lady Cougars, who led at halftime, 10-3, received two goals and an assist from Emilie de Keyzer. Chatham also got a goal apiece from Catherine McNiff, Frances Workman and Ann Francesco. Kat Friday was credited with seven saves in goal for the Lady Cougars.

Chatham plays host to Glen Ridge, 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Cougar Field.
