Carson Overtime Goal Boosts Chatham Boys Lacrosse In Kyle Kirst Invitational

SUMMIT, NJ - Nate Carson scored in overtime off a pass from Ryan Decker to give Chatham an 11-10 boys lacrosse victory over Medfield of Massachusetts Saturday in the Kyle Kirst Invitational held at Tatlock Field.

Medfield is a 7-time state champion in Massachusetts, including state titles in 2014 and 2015. The invitational was played in honor of late Summit coach Kyle Kirst.

Mac Bredahl led the way with three goals for Chatham (9-5), which received two goals and an assist apiece from Matt Coleman and Connor Byrd.

Ryan Chase, Austin Pierce and Chris Francesco each netted a goal for the Cougars. Matt Nestler made 11 saves for Chatham.

Operation Sunscreen Returns to Chatham Fishawack Festival on June 9 to Benefit Troops Overseas
