MORRISTOWN, NJ - Nicole Tingley won two individual events and led off two winning relays for Chatham as the Lady Cougars won their seventh straight Morris County Swimming Championship Saturday at Morristown High.

Tingley won the 200-meter individual medley in 2:26.71 and the 100-meter freestyle in 1:00.19, as Chatham racked up 310.5 points. Morristown was second with a team total of 154.

Also winning individual races for Chatham were: Emily Gorham, first in the 100 butterfly (1:05.51); Christina Barrett, first in the 400-meter freestyle (4:28.79), and Alicia Iizuka, first in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.21).

Chatham also picked up points in the 200-meter freestyle with Margaret Harrigan placing second in 2:13.21; Barrett fourth in 2:14.86, and Abbie Bigham fifth in 2:14.94.

Chatham won the 200 freestyle relay with Tingley, Caroline Paulson, Harrigan and Gorham teaming up to win in 1:51.52.

The Lady Cougars 400 freestyle relay team of Tingley, Jane Ewald, Harrigan and Gorham touched first in 4:04.61.

Also earning points toward the victory for Chatham were Gorham, fourth in the 50 free (27.51); Amy Duren, fourth in the 100 butterfly (1:07.72); Harrigan, fifth in the 100 free (1:02.24); Jacqueline Carter, third in 400 free (4:39.25); Bigham, fourth in 400 free (4:43.13), and Carter, third in the 100 backstroke (1:06.77).
