CHATHAM, NJ - Each year after Christmas, the Chatham Athletic Boosters raise money through the Cougar Classic basketball tournament to benefit a worthy cause.

On Saturday night, the boosters handed over the proceeds to the Chatham Borough Fire Department, the Green Village Fire Department and the Chatham Township Fire Department. Each department received a check for $2,400.

Chatham Borough Fire Chief Doug Allan, Green Village Fire Chief Matt Behre and Chatham Township Captain Matt Lemons were in attendance to receive the checks before the Chathams boys basketball team met Mount Olive in the Morris County Tournament.
