CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham High senior Veronica Kelly celebrated her official signing Monday with Dartmouth College, where she will continue to play basketball next year.

The 6-2 forward finished No. 4 on Chatham's all-time girls scoring chart with 1,165 points as the 10th Lady Cougar to top 1,000 points. In addition to her scoring. Kelly finished as the school's No. 1 rebounder with 890 and as the No. 1 all-time shot blocker with 282. At the foul line, she concluded her career with an 81 percent accuracy rate.

Kelly was named the Most Valuable Player of the 41st Morris County Girls Basketball Tournament, after helping secure the first-ever title for the Chatham girls.

This past season, Kelly averaged 11.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while shooting 46 percent from the floor. All those numbers improved in the Morris County Tournament as Kelly averaged 13 points and nine rebounds while sinking 49 percent of her shots from the floor and 90 percent of her free throws.
