CHATHAM, NJ - Administrator Steve Williams announced that Chatham Borough has received a Safety Incentive Award from the Morris County Joint Insurance Fund and that the police department gained a license plate reader from a county homeland security grant.

Williams revealed (see video below) at Monday's regular meeting of the Borough of Chatham Council that the municipality received a $750 from the MCJIF for its safety incentive score related to time lost due to accidents. Chatham Borough's Department of Public Works and police department was cited for "No Time Lost" due to accidents in 2017.

Williams also announced (see video below) that the Chatham Borough Police has received a license plate reader through a Morris County Homeland Security Grant program.
