CHATHAM, NJ - The Chatham Borough Volunteer Fire Department showed residents the skills it takes to safely extract someone trapped in an auto accident on Saturday at its Open House held at the fire house.

Firefighters Travis Prost, Alex Chin, A.J. Sweetin, Corey Duren, George Traver Jr. and Dave Allan used hydraulic tools to remove the door of a Ford Explorer supplied by Glenn's Automotive and Towing.

Inside the firehouse, firefighters Paul Carroll and Don Kidd served up hot dogs and chili for the visitors.

Chatham's Meghan LeMon Awarded Degree from Miami University in Ohio

OXFORD, OH -- Meghan LeMon of Chatham was among more than 3,900 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Millett Hall.

LeMon graduated MAGNA with a BA degree, majoring in Speech Path & Audiology.

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio.
