Chatham Borough Joint Meeting Tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 21 on Affordable Housing Measures

The Borough of Chatham Council and Planning Board will hold a Joint Special Meeting 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 on Affordable Housing Credits: TAP Chatham

CHATHAM, NJ - The Borough of Chatham Council and the borough planning board will hold a joint special meeting 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 in the municipal building at 54 Fairmount Ave. to vote on measures related to the third round of affordable housing.

The borough had its affordable housing plan approved by Superior Court Judge Stephan C. Hansbury on Sept. 7 and will now vote on amendments and resolutions to put the plan in action.

A resolution will be voted on by the planning board to adopt the third round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan that the Borough of Chatham had approved in court.

Also to be voted on will be ordinance No. 16-11, which will amend sections of the borough code to provide a minimum affordable housing set-aside in certain zone districts.

Residents of Chatham to Receive Second Fundraising Letter Asking for Their Support of the Chatham Emergency Squad
