If you choose to register with a check or cash that is not a problem - please contact Carol Nauta at cnauta@chathamborough.org or call 973-635-7066 to complete the form and arrange the payment. Please note pool members do need to reside in Chatham.

The pool has experienced a terrific membership increase with the renovations to the facility. The excitement of the children at the wading pool, with its graduated entry and its water features, has been a huge success. The fully covered picnic area gives members a place to read a book, play a game, enjoy lunch, dinner or a snack within the complex. With many of our local food establishments in close proximity to the pool walking and/or deliveries are an added opportunity to come for a swim, have a bite to eat and hop back into the pool. Adjacent to the pool is a basketball court and playground where children can explore and release some energy. Also adjacent to the pool is the library. Adults and children can visit, catch-up on their summer reading or become part of the library’s summer reading program.

The Memorial Park Advisory Committee has been meeting. Activities that are scheduled will be an Open House, bring your Father/Grandfather as our guest on Father’s Day, Senior Aerobics along with our annual swim lesson program. Children age 4 by June 1st will again be able to take swim lessons, for an additional fee. Children and adults can further advance their skills by also taking private lessons. New ideas discussed are a Family Movie Night, Ladies and Senior Adult mornings or evenings, Aqua Zumba, stroke clinics and a Family Olympics.

The Memorial Park Pool will open Saturday, May 28th, weekends and holidays. The pool will open its fulltime weekday schedule late June. The pool will close at the end of the day Labor Day.

If you have any questions or are interested in joining the Memorial Park Pool Advisory Committee, please contact Carol Nauta.
