CHATHAM, NJ - On June 2, 2019, at 3:45 AM, Sergeant Daniel Walsh arrested Dan Tracy, age 55, from Chatham Borough, New Jersey and charged him with terroristic threats, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sergeant Walsh and Officer Andrew Pereira responded to a Chatham Borough address to investigate a verbal dispute. While investigating the complaint, Mr. Tracy became upset and angry about the presence of the police and started to threaten them. Mr. Tracy continued to threaten and make verbally abusive statements at the officers, so he was placed under arrest. When the Officers took him into custody, Mr. Tracy physically resisted and continued to act out. During the search, the Officer discovered a hollowed out metal pipe. When asked about the item, Mr. Tracy told the Officer that he uses it for his drugs. He was transported to police headquarters, processed, served with a complaint summons and released pending a court appearance.

On June 3, 2019, at 8:13 PM, Officer Agnes Cisek arrested Travis Knight, age 34, from Roselle Borough, New Jersey on an active contempt of court warrant issued by the
Municipality of Chatham Township. Officer Cisek conducted a random license plate
check on the vehicle driven by Mr. Knight. The check uncovered the warrant and a motor vehicle stop was initiated. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to police headquarters for processing. The Chatham Township court was contacted and released Mr. Knight on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.
