On August 4, 2016, Chatham Borough Police officers were pleasantly surprised when a group of children stopped by headquarters to present them with bracelets in appreciation for the work they do.

The bracelets were made by the children because of a generous donation to the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation.  A local resident made a donation on behalf of the Chatham Borough Police Department so that each officer could receive a handmade bracelet.

To date, the children have made over 400 bracelets and collected over $2,000 in donations for the officers in Dallas.
