CHATHAM, NJ - With 11 provisional ballots added to the vote, Chatham Borough updated its vote total from the Nov. 7 election, which confirmed the announced winners reported last Tuesday (See updated totals below).
Robert Weber and Thaddeus Kobylarz were the winners in the four-way race for two Borough of Chatham Council seats.
"I would like to thank the voters for the faith and trust that they have placed in me," Bob Weber said. "I will not let you down. To those that did not vote for me, I hope to earn your faith and trust in the days ahead. If nothing else, the close nature of this contest proved how important every vote can be in an election.
"Also, I want to congratulate Mr. Kobylarz for a well-fought campaign. I look forward to working with him and the rest of the council on the issues that matter most to the residents of Chatham Borough."
Jill Critchley Weber and Mike Ryan were victorious in the three-way race for two Chatham Borough Board of Education seats.
