Chatham Boys Lacrosse Rally Falls Short in 9-8 Loss to Seton Hall Prep

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Matt Coleman connected for five goals to lead Chatham in a 9-8 boys lacrosse loss to Seton Hall Prep on Tuesday.

Seton Hall Prep (4-2) held a 9-6 lead before sophomore Mac Bredahl scored two straight goals to cut the deficit to 9-8 for the Cougars (5-2). Bredahl was credited with three assists in the game.

It was the second straight one-goal loss for Chatham, which dropped an 8-7 game to Westfield on Saturday.

Austin Pierce had a goal and an assist for Chatham, which received two assists from Nate Carson and one assist from Thomas Berger.

Sean Leahey led Seton Hall Prep with four goals and an assist.

Chatham plays host to Delbarton Thursday in a rematch of the 2015 Morris County Tournament final.
