Chatham Boys Lacrosse Tops Mount Olive, 9-6

FLANDERS, NJ - Senior middie Evan Bernard notched three goals and an assist as Chatham scored a 9-6 boys lacrosse victory over Mount Olive on Saturday.

Junior Austin Pierce scored three goals for Chatham (2-0), which received two goals from senior Robert Rhoads. 

Senior attack Will Barnett was credited with five assists for the Cougars. He has produced three goals and 10 assists in two games this season.

Nate Carson contributed a goal for Chatham, which also received an assist in the game from Thomas Berger. Matt Nestler made seven saves and Matt Grilli stopped four shots in sharing the goalie duties for the Cougars.

Mark Laratta collected four goals and two assists for Mount Olive (1-1), which got two goals from Alex Maya.
