RANDOLPH, NJ - The Chatham boys throwing teams placed in the shot put, discus and javelin and the girls' shuttle hurdles team ran its top time of the season on Monday at the East Coast Relays held at Randolph High.
In the shot put, Chatham's team of Sam Dennerlein, Kevin Ferreira and Ivan Rozkhov placed sixth with a total distance of 127 feet, 4.5 inches.
In the discus, the Chatham's team of Dennerlein, Ferreira and Thomas Whyte finished fifth with a combined distance of 367 feet, 4 inches.
In the javelin, Chatham's team of Rozkhov, Aidan Christie and Jared Cohn placed fifth with a distance of 380 feet, 6 inches. Christie set a personal record in the event with a throw of 131 feet, 5 inches.
The Chatham girls shuttle hurdles team of Melina Panagakos, Elyse Panagakos, Julia Piness and Lauren Clark placed 12th with a season-best time of 1:08.46.
The Chatham boys shuttle hurdles team of Thomas DePinto, Ryan Varca, Kevin Ferreira, and John Romano placed 16th in 1:08.88.
