Chatham Boys Win Morris County Winter Track 4x400 Relay Championship

NEW YORK - The Chatham boys 4x400 relay team put itself among the top 10 fastest indoor track teams in the state with a time of 3:27.71 in winning the Morris County Championship Wednesday at Ocean Breeze on Staten Island.

The Cougar 4x400 team of Vince Avallone, Jaylen Haye, Sam Viola and Avery Brown ran its fastest time of the season in earning first place.

The top team finishers a the county meet were: 1-Morris Hills 58. 2-Delbarton 41. 3-Chatham 34.25. 4-Morristown 34. 5-Randolph 33.75.  

Top Chatham Finishers:
Shot Put: Adam Oare; 7th with a toss of 42 feet, 0 inches.
High Jump: Thomas Walsh; 4-way tie for 6th at  5 feet, 8 inches  (.25 points)
1600: Colin Logsdon; 3rd place with PR of 4:23.52
300:  Avery Brown;  2nd place with PR of 36.05
       Vincent Avallone:  4th place with PR  of 36.48
1000:  Colin Logsdon;  5th place with PR of 2:39.82
3200:  Bo Radaam;  4th place with PR of 9:53.37
