Chatham-ECLC Play United Team Earns Silver Medal at Shriver Cup Basketball Championships

PRINCETON, NJ - The Chatham-ECLC Play Unified Basketball Team competed alongside 15 high school and 10 colleges around the state in the annual Unified Shriver Cup Basketball Championship on Sunday at Princeton University and brought home the silver medal in high school Division 1.

The unified team is comprised of five students from CHS: Michelle Connolly, Connor Kressler, Hallie Pelligrin, Morgan Pelligrin and Melissa Landry, and seven students from ECLC: James Droggitis, Matt Reto, Nick Sordillo, Donovan Garrity, Alec Jones, Jake Muller and Ethan Kaufman.

The high school teams were divided into two three divisions to compete against teams of similar ability. Due to Chatham- ECLC's team performance in local tournaments, the team was put in Division 1 to compete alongside Ridge, Moorestown, and Millburn.

The squad came out victorious in a one-basket game versus Millburn, which put them through to the the championship game, which was one by Moorestown.
