CHATHAM, NJ - Senior goalie Emily Buckman came up with 16 saves to keep Chatham in the game during a 1-0 field hockey loss to Mendham on Monday at Haas Field.

Samantha DiMaio scored off a pass from Camryn Litjens in the first half for Mendham (16-2). 

No. 10 seed Chatham (6-9-2) travels to meet No. 7 Mount Olive (13-5) in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 state tournament on Wednesday.
