Chatham Freshman Ekert Places Fifth Individually at Morris County Golf Tournament; Helps Cougar Team Place Fourth

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ - Chatham freshman Cole Ekert carded a 40-37-77 to post the fifth-best individual score in helping the Cougars place fourth overall as a team in the Morris County Boys Golf Tournament held Wednesday at the Flanders Valley Golf Club.

Chatham shot 328 as a team to finish behind Morristown-Beard (314), Delbarton (326), and Morristown (327).

The top golfers at the MCT for Chatham included: Will Ethridge (40-40-81), Joe Polverino (39-45-84) and Conor Harrington (43-43-86).

Pat Ryan of Morristown-Beard was the medalist with a par-72.
