CHATHAM, NJ - In what was billed as a tune-up for the state tournament for the Chatham girls basketball team, resulted in a 50-31 loss to High Point on Thursday.

Trisha Peterson scored 16 points and April Peterson dropped in 10 to power High Point (20-4), which took a 34-19 lead into the fourth quarter. Cassandra Falone scored 12 points to lead Chatham, which was limited to seven baskets from the floor for the entire game.

Chatham (15-11) plays host to Passaic Valley 5 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the state tournament.
