MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - Lindsey Bresnahan, Sarah Petitjean, Sydney Grossman and Lauren Davis led the way as the Chatham girls cross-country team placed second in the NJAC Conference Championships held Tuesday at Greystone.

Bresnahan crossed third in 19:57, Petitjean was sixth in 19:15 and Grossman 7th in 19:15.

"This is the best finish the program has had in the meet in at least the past decade," Julie Guerriero, Chatham coach, said.

Mendham placed first with 33 points and Chatham was second with 57. Three Cougars earned medals by placing in the top 10 and the team finished with a season-best average of 20:30.
