SUMMIT, NJ - Junior Heather Ivans led the way with a 49, averaging 1.77 putts per hole for Chatham in a girls golf match against teams from Millburn, Oak Knoll and Kent Place on Tuesday at the Canoe Brook Country Club's South Course front nine.

Chatham shot 220 as a team with juniors Ella Mercer and Christine Doherty each carding a 57. Marley McSweeney had a personal-best round of 57 for the Lady Cougars.

The Tech Club at Chatham High School placed third in the 8th annual Thomas Edison Invention Challenge this year.
