Chatham Girls Third at State Group 2 Relays; 4x800 Runs 1st in School-Record Time

TOMS RIVER, NJ -  Chatham's 4x800 girls relay team of Alex Frenzel, Erin Tencic, Julie Hamilton and Laura Walsh took first place at the state Group 2 Relays, helping the Lady Cougars finish third overall at the meet held Saturday at the Bennett Center.

Chatham ended with 21 points behind Rumson (30 points) and Holmdel (27). Every Chatham relay team posted its best time of the season.

The Shuttle Hurdles Relay team of Simone Kirton, Sarah Prill, Phoebe Nichols and Rashida Haye took second place in the school-record time of 34.19, breaking their own school mark of 34.20.

Distance Medley-5th place in 12:56.27 (Julie Hamilton, Catherine McNiff, Alex Frenzel, Laura Walsh)
 
4x200-6th place in 1:51.8 (Rashida Haye, Sarah Prill, Laura Barber, Simone Kirton)
 
SMR-3:32.9 (Julia DiSalvio, Sarah Prill, Simone Kirton, Erin Tencic)
 
4x400-4:24.67 (Rashida Haye, Julia DiSalvio, Laura Walsh, Catherine McNiff)

Chatham's Meghan LeMon Awarded Degree from Miami University in Ohio

OXFORD, OH -- Meghan LeMon of Chatham was among more than 3,900 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Millett Hall.

LeMon graduated MAGNA with a BA degree, majoring in Speech Path & Audiology.

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio.
