Chatham Girls Win 4x800 at Gardiner Holiday Relays

MADISON, NJ - Senior Laura Walsh anchored two medal-winning relay teams for the Chatham girls track team at the Gardiner Holiday Relays held Saturday at Drew University.

Erin Tencic, Catherine McNiff and Kat Schmitter teamed with Walsh in winning the 4x800 Relay in 10:19.

Walsh also ran with Julie Hamilton, Julia DiSalvio and Alex Frenzel, gaining fifth in the Distance Medley Relay in 13:16.

Chatham also took third place in the 4x200 Relay with Rashida Haye, Sarah Prill, Laura Barber and Simone Kirton clocking 1:53.31.
In the JV events, all three of the Chatham's 4x800 teams placed. The team of Grace Malanga, Keren Hynes, Anya Raadam and Maggie Schneider won the event in 11:03. Earning second place in the 4x800 relay was the team of Tracy DeLade, Teresa Clark, Sharon Cashel and Abby Cashel in 11:16.

Fifth in the 4x800 were Kate Mirabelli, Sarah Irish, Julia Campbell and Holly Fullman in 11:24.
Chatham's 4x200 team of Serena Riback, Abi Palmer, Elizabeth Murray and Noelle Bessette placed fourth in 2:04.97.

Residents of Chatham to Receive Second Fundraising Letter Asking for Their Support of the Chatham Emergency Squad

During the week of May 20, a follow-up letter seeking donations to the Chatham Emergency Squad (CES) will be sent to more than 6,000 Chatham residents, businesses, religious and community organizations. Letters will not be sent to individuals, businesses, and organizations who have lent their support with the first mailing, issued in January 2018.
