TOMS RIVER, NJ --  Chatham High School Sailing placed 7th of 13 schools at the New Jersey Interscholastic Sailing Association State Championship at the Toms River Yacht Club.

Chatham’s A Division team of senior skipper Thomas Marino and junior crew Paige
Lubrano finished 6th over 10 races in A Division, highlighted by their win in race A4.

Chatham’s B Division team finished 10th overall and was led by sophomore skipper
Jamie Lynch and junior crew Jonathan Field, who sailed 6 races. Senior skipper Ciara
Doherty sailed 4 races with senior crew Milos Buchberger and sophomore crew Cole
West.

B Division’s top finishes were a 5th by Lynch/Field in race B7 and a 6th by Doherty/Buchberger in race B9.

The Team competes in the NJISA Fall and Spring Seasons, and the NJISA State
Championship wraps up CHS Sailing’s 14th season on the water.
