Chatham High School Clubs Running a Number of Charity Drives

CHATHAM, NJ - A number of Chatham High School clubs are running charity drives to benefit community organizations over the course of the next few weeks:

Turkey Drive sponsored by Chatham Cares-November 21st from 6:45 a.m.-7:45 a.m. at the Auditorium Circle. Frozen turkeys will be collected to benefit local food banks. Please contact Mrs. Fallon at with any questions.

Teens for Jeans sponsored by Key Club-now through February. New and gently used jeans will be collected and donated to homeless teens. All styles, sizes and colors are needed. Collection boxes can be found in the CHS lobby and outside Room L14. Please contact Mrs. Avery at with any questions.

Toiletry and Cleaning Supply Drive sponsored by Women's Empowerment Club-now through November 26th to benefit the Jersey Battered Womens' Shelter. Items needed can be found on the organization's wishlist. Collection boxes are found in the CHS lobby. Questions can be directed to Mrs. Beatty at

Coats, Blankets and Backpacks Drive sponsored by the Chatham Prayer Club-begins next week. Collection boxes will be located in the CHS lobby. Please contact Mrs. Caulfield at with any questions.

Register for the 41st Chatham Fishawack Run Set to Kick Off the Fishawack Festival on June 9

On June 9th the Chatham Jaycees will be holding their 41st Annual Chatham Fishawack Run starting and finishing at the Chatham Train Station.
