CHATHAM, NJ - Natalie Charewicz, a senior at Chatham High School, has been named the recipient of the Nicholas Rizzo Scholarship Award given annually by the Nicholas Rizzo Fine Arts Gallery.

Charewicz is the 12th winner of the Chatham art gallery's scholarship, given to recognize the importance of art education.

Charewicz will attend Boston University, where she has been accepted into the BFA/BA program. Previously, she was the winner of the Gold Key in the  2017 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and earned a gold medal for Best in Show at this year’s County College of Morris Teen Arts Festival.

The Rizzo Fine Arts Gallery selects pieces of art from a select number of local high school students and displays them at the gallery. The exhibit will begin Wednesday, May 31 and remain on display through Saturday, June 10.
