CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham High School seniors Felicia Guo and Nishita Sinha received a total of seven awards at the North Jersey Regional Science Fair, hosted by Rutgers University on March 10-11.

Guo earned two awards for her presentation on computer modeling of biochemical reactions occurring in human bodies, and Sinha earned five awards for her presentation on improving sanitation conditions in rural areas around the world and protecting groundwater from pathogenic microorganisms.

NJRSF is a high school student science competition sponsored by Nokia Bell Labs, in which students, individually or in groups, present a wide variety of projects in all areas of science, math, and engineering.

Dr. Yelena Naumova advises the Chatham High School Research Club and mentors students as they pursue their own specific interests in independent research projects. It is through the Research Club that these students worked on their projects and developed their presentations.
