Chatham Hosts Pilgrim Pipeline Regional Organizer Meeting March 23

On Monday, March 23, Chatham Citizens Opposing the Oil Pipeline (CCOOP) will host a regional meeting for residents in neighboring towns who are interested in organizing local opposition to the pipeline. The event is at 7:00 p.m. in the meeting room at the Library of the Chathams, 214 Main Street, between Passaic and Hillside Aves. in Chatham Borough. Members of CCOOP along with Matthew Smith of Food + Water Watch will share strategies and resources for activities including finding and communicating with volunteers, engaging local officials in a dialogue, raising community consciousness, and participating in letter-writing campaigns.  All are welcome.
