Chatham Jaycees Unveil 2016 Shirt for 39th Annual Fishawack Run

CHATHAM, NJ - About 800 runners are expected to participate in the 39th annual Jaycees Fishawack Run set for Saturday, June 11.

Bill Heap of the Jaycees attended the Borough of Chatham Council meeting Monday to unveil the 2016 shirt design.

The one-mile fun run begins at 9 a.m. at the Chatham Train Station and the competitive four-mile race starts at 9:30, also starting and finishing at the train station.

Register for the race by Wednesday, May 25 for a reduced rate and to guarantee a shirt will be reserved for the event. Registration will be limited on race day.

To see the 2016 Fishawack shirts and hats visit Dunkin Donuts on Main Street in Chatham.

All proceeds from the race are reinvested in the community in the form of scholarships and grants to organizations such as the Girl Scouts, the Emergency Squad, the fire and police departments.
