Chatham Made the Plays to Defeat Orange, 68-66


CHATHAM, NJ - There are no words that can adequately describe how the Cougars defeated Orange, 68-66, in boys basketball to reach the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 tournament final on Saturday night.

Fortunately, we have the videos to show what happened in the fourth quarter.

3:38 left, Tristan LeMon drives for a basket that gives Chatham the lead for good at 56-54

A little more than 3 minutes left, freshman Jack Rooney drives and finishes with his left hand for a 58-54 lead

1:37 left, Jack Rooney nearly loses the ball, picks up his dribble and swishes off-balance shot for 63-58 lead

Graham DeLaney blocks the shot and Tristan LeMon covers it up with 2.1 seconds left

Milton Ave Brownie Troop 96312 assembled and donated over 30 sustainable lunches for Bridges Outreach on Tuesday, April 24th.
