CHATHAM, NJ - The silver lining in Chatham's loss in the ice hockey state tournament this week is that the Cougar skaters were available for the start of boys lacrosse practice, which began Friday,

Chatham reached the state sectional quarterfinals in 2014, ending its season with a 5-4 overtime loss to Northern Highlands. The Cougars open the season at Bernards, 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 25.

On Saturday, Chatham coach Tony Calandra and his staff put the boys lacrosse team through its paces at Lum Field.
