Chatham Senior Jessica Barry Named NJSIAA Scholar-Athlete

EDISON, NJ - Chatham High three-sport athlete Jessica Barry, who captained the field hockey and golf teams and also ran indoor track, was the recipient of a $500 scholarship on Sunday at the 23rd annual NJSIAA Scholar-Athlete recognition luncheon held at the Pines Manor.

Barry previously earned a Presidential Scholarship from the University of Maryland, where she will be enrolled as a freshman in the fall.

The CHS senior is a two-time captain of the golf team and recently won the individual Morris County Tournament championship. In field hockey, the forward finished with career totals of 31 goals and 18 assists.
